As I was sitting here creating this blog, I thought to myself what on earth can I post on this blog? Do I have such an
interessting life that other people would like to read about it?
The next minute all hell broke loose in my house. Like a scene in a horror movie Mr Batman entered my house. I know they say Africa is not for sissy's, but be realistic, bats are freaking scary creatures. The first thing that crossed my mind was to cover my hair, but then I remembered that is only a myth.
To me it was a matter of either me or him. I phoned my husband, he is after all the protector in the household, but the fact that he is in Pretoria doesn't help me or Batman much. I then realised that I have to deal with this scary/scared creature on my own.
The only other reasonable thing to do (being a woman) was to give my lungs some practise,
every time this THING came close to me I screamed as if it was my last scream. I think I scared the poor creature so much that he decided to surrender, the next minute it just went to sit on my curtain, I then managed to catch it with a towel and I released it outside.
So I'm glad to report that no animals was harmed and that my voice is still intact.
Being Sunday night, I have to get my mind into work mode, this week is going to be very busy. I have a Maths test tomorrow night, and guess what? I haven't even started to study for it.
So, that's me for today.
